Bray Head Ceann Bhreagha
Bray Head (located on Valentia Island) can be reached on a 25-minutes walk from the parking area at Foilhommerum Bay. Once arrived, the remnants of a former watch tower can be explored - it was built in 1815.
Instead of going back to Foilhommerum Bay on the same trail, it is most recommended to follow the Bray Head Loop instead. This path also leads back to the parking area, and will offer a wonderful panoramic view on Bray Head, the Dingle Bay, Valentia Island and the Portmagee channel.
To reach Bray Head, take the bridge from Portmagee to Valentia Island and follow the Wild Atlantic Way for 1,5 kilometres. Then turn left and you will reach the parking area after 450 meters. Bray Head is a signature point of the Wild Atlantic Way.
