Finavarra Point Pointe Fhíonaigh Bheara

Driving along the coast north of Burren, the headland of Finavarra Point can already be seen from far away.
The Martello tower, which was built in the early 19th century to protect the coast, can still be visited today.

The discovery point Flaggy Shore is located halfway between Kinvara and Ballyvaughan. Follow the coastal road in westerly direction, where the road will lead around a small lake. Turn right at the next T-junction, Finvarra point lies at the end of the road.
