The well-known travel writer H.V. Morton wrote the following after a visit to the west of Ireland, „I know now where the world ends.“ Although the west of Ireland is, of course, not the end of the world but one cannot dispute the fact that the wonders of this unique coastal area are breathtaking and can send one into raptures of delight and pleasure.
The indented coastline formed and influenced by the wild Atlantic stirs the senses and makes us feel as if we have stepped into another world.
