Sky Road Bóthar na Spéire
The sky road is a scenic, circular drive, starting and ending in Clifden, the biggest town in Connemara county.
From Clifden, the road starts westwards, leading to a fork junction. Here you can either take the lower sky road or the upper sky road. On the upper sky road, there is a light slope with its culmination at a parking area with a breathtaking panoramic view on Clifden Bay and the islands off the coast.
At Clifden, the Wild Atlantic Way follows the Sky Road in westerly direction.
